elbu connects brands and advertisers directly with Twitch streamers. Through our technology, advertisers can seamlessly book short, animated display ads (videos/GIFs) that are played at regular intervals directly within broadcasters' livestreams. This creates a non-intrusive but highly effective ad placement in the gaming environment.

At the moment, elbu focuses exclusively on Twitch.

Integration with elbu is super easy. You receive an individual link from us. Simply add it as a browser source in your streaming software (e.g., OBS Studio, Streamlabs, Twitch Studio). As soon as you go live and a campaign is active, the ad appears automatically.

No, not at all. The ad only takes up a small part of your screen and is played without sound. Your gameplay, webcam, and commentary always stay the main focus. There are no disruptive pop-ups or loud ad breaks.

Because you generate revenue by displaying ads, you are legally considered a service provider for elbu UG (haftungsbeschränkt). We need your IBAN, full address, and tax number solely for internal purposes and to create your payout credit note (proof of payout for your records and tax office). Legally, we cannot process payouts without this information.

If you do not yet have a tax number for your freelance/commercial activity as a streamer, you need to contact your local tax office (keyword: tax registration). Note: The tax number is not the same as your personal tax ID (the 11-digit number you have since birth), but a separate number assigned by the tax office after registering your activity.

elbu pays out your earnings once the advertiser has paid for the corresponding campaign. Since billing cycles at larger companies can take some time, payout may take a few weeks after the campaign ends. Your elbu dashboard keeps you updated on the status of your payout.

Yes. As a streamer, you are responsible for ensuring there are no conflicts with your existing sponsors. For example, if you have a fixed sponsorship with an energy drink brand, make sure you do not run competing energy drink campaigns via elbu to avoid contractual penalties.

Yes. With elbu, you are not required to accept every campaign. You can see available campaigns in your dashboard and decide which brands fit you and your community.

You need an active Twitch channel. There is no minimum viewer requirement at elbu, so you can join and get started regardless of your channel size.

elbu uses short, memorable display ads in video/GIF format. These animations are shown directly in the stream (overlay) for a few seconds at regular intervals defined by you. Since these placements have no sound, they do not disrupt the viewer experience and therefore achieve very high acceptance.

You can provide your existing videos or videos/GIFs directly, or leave the full creation to us. On request, our experienced designers create a tailored, visually appealing ad asset optimized for Twitch overlay format.

The elbu platform provides highly granular targeting options: - Categories & games: Book streams where specific games (e.g., League of Legends, Valorant) or categories (e.g., Just Chatting, E-Sports) are played. - Streamer selection: You can specifically include streamers for your campaign or exclude them (exclusion/blacklisting) to maximize brand safety.

Brand safety is a top priority for us. You have full control over which channels your ads run on. With our exclusion process, you can block unsuitable streamers in advance. We also regularly review connected broadcasters for compliance with our community guidelines.

We track viewer counts exactly at the second your ad is displayed on the streamer's screen. This allows elbu to calculate transparent, real views (impressions). In your dashboard, you can monitor performance in real time and see exactly which streamer generated how many views.

Billing is generally based on CPM (cost per mille / thousand impressions). So you only pay for views where your ad was actually seen by viewers in the stream.

You keep full flexibility and control over campaign planning. You can define the exact campaign period and set how often the ad should be displayed per day. You also define a fixed total budget for the full period in advance.

Yes. In your elbu dashboard, you can upload new videos/GIFs at any time or pause existing ones, for example to react to A/B tests or promote time-sensitive offers.
